El alcance del estudio se centró en establecer la funcionalidad de los componentes curriculares es-pecíficamente "plan de estudios, metodológico y evaluación" a nivel de diseño, desarrollo y ejecución curricular, en relación con la utilización del software AutoCAD® como herramienta de apoyo y aplicación por parte de los estudiantes del área de ingeniería básica e ingeniería aplicada (en las asignaturas dibujo II, topografía I, topografía II, fotogrametría, vías I, construcciones civiles I, II y III), del programa de Ingeniería Civil de la Universidad de Sucre, y estimó la funcionalidad de dichos componentes.
